The Canon EOS 70D is the successor to the Canon 60D, which was a semi-professional digital single lens reflex camera. Keep in mind that the 14–42mm lens will make everything look a little flat and will not do much to give your videos a softer, blurred background, so keep that in mind when shooting with this lens. For those who are up for a challenge, the GH5 could very well be the camera for you. This is a high-end camera, and that is probably the only negative thing I can say about it at this point. The video and footage quality produced by the GH5 is unquestionably impressive – it is truly astounding. In addition to the standard 4K, cinema 4K, and standard Full HD resolutions, you can shoot in almost any resolution up to 5K. In addition, it has extraordinarily good DUAl IS2 image E-stabilization when compared to all of the previous models I’ve mentioned. It’s also a reasonably small mirrorless camera for its class.

In order to achieve more impressive video and audio quality with most smaller DSLR or mirrorless cameras, you must invest some money in additional equipment. With the GH5, you can rig things up very simply, and at this price, this better be an impressive stand-alone video recording tool.

This camera is extremely customizable, and the number of options it provides is virtually limitless.
