REVIEW: Casey Neistat’s Camera Setup for Vlogging

Casey Neistat is a YouTube vlogger who has recently gained a great deal of attention as a result of his excellent filmmaking abilities. And a lot of people are curious about what kind of camera setup he is using to produce such professional-looking videos. I’ve looked into it, to be honest. In addition, I’m going to do a review of his equipment. In addition, I’d like to suggest some of my own modifications and small tweaks to it. So I’m going to put my glasses on like Casey. We’re going to start from the beginning.

Another thing to consider is whether or not you are using the autofocus method on the tracking one. Keep in mind that we only went through these for a split second. However, if you have it set up for tracking– if you want it to happen automatically– you can make this happen. It will automatically maintain focus on the faces that it has identified– and it does an excellent job of maintaining focus on the faces. “Using an external microphone will reduce the amount of lens noise that is recorded,” however, according to the manual. And I’ve discovered that even when the external lens is placed on top of the road, it still picks up the signal.

So, if I go back to this, you can turn it on and off by simply tapping this while you’re recording, which is a nice feature that makes it more convenient. As a result, you can use it whenever you want. However, I have decided not to use it because it creates a little too much background noise for my liking. As a result, I have this turned off. And I just keep it on FlexiZone as a backup. While you are using the FlexiZone, the cool thing about it is that if you hold it and press this button right here– this AF focus on– while you are doing it, you can keep it held while you are recording. Furthermore, it does not produce enough noise. Take note of how it is concentrating in these specific areas right now. So, if I were to put my hand right here and then pull this, you’d be able to see how everything would focus on my hand. Although you couldn’t hear it, I could hear the lens making this strange noise.

What is the best lens for vlogging on a DSLR?

In addition, when you zoom out on this lens, you can see how wide it is, which is a nice feature of this lens. To demonstrate how much room this lens is actually picking up– the 10 to 22 millimetre range– on this one, I’ve included a photo of the lens in question. So this is at ten o’clock. And if I zoom in, it only gives you a small amount of information. You should be able to get in about that far. That is currently at 22 millimetres. And I like it because I have discovered that wide is extremely useful for vlogging.

This is also a crop sensor, which means that the image has been zoomed in a little bit more than it would have been on a full sensor camera. However, it is still extremely enjoyable. Just enough range for you to be able to zoom in and draw attention to something you want to draw attention to, but not so much that you can’t zoom out and see nothing but yourself in the entire room. You also have a lot of open space around you, which allows you to absorb a lot of the surrounding environment. Another thing to consider with this is that it weighs approximately four pounds– which does not appear to be a significant amount. When I’m on video, I’m not allowed to wear those.

To use a camera to its full potential when vlogging, you must be familiar with how to operate it– including how to use a variety of manual settings– and understand how to operate it. So while I’m doing things like vlogging on the GoPro HERO4 Black– which is what I’ve been using– because it can record in 2K and 4K, I’m also doing other things. It includes time-lapse footage and other features. I can put it anywhere I want. It’s a lot less conspicuous than before. There’s a problem with the audio here.
